Most companies are still using fairtrade, although Starbucks plan to drop this for RA soon.&nbsp;<br><br>Costa Foundation - Charity to help alleviate poverty, ties in with Rainforest Alliance<br><br>- Seating is 'community-orientated'. Seats come in groups, no area for single seating.&nbsp;<br><br>- Focus more on 'coffee drinkers' rather than 'sweet drinkers' like Starbucks. More of a focus on the quality of the coffee itself.&nbsp;<br><br>- Support British milk farmers&nbsp;<br><br>Core Value -&nbsp;<br><br>Costa's key focus is on the quality of their products, the sourcing of which is key examples of this include using British Milk Farmers as suppliers. The target market is those who enjoy the coffee itself instead of sweeter products like some competitors. Also a key focus on the sustainability of their suppliers, they are the first chain to use Rainforest Alliance coffee which aims to build up communities which rely on growing beans. <br><br></div>]]></description>

It appeals to 'cause champions' and consumers wanting to pick up a quick cheap drink with their friends.
