It runs about 400 kilometers throught a very long valley running from Tuscany through Umbria, Latium, PAST ROME, to the Tyrhennian Sea at Ostia. The Tiber river has negatives and positives on the development of Rome itself. The River also varies between 7 and 20 ft. deep. A negative was that Tiberinus a king of Alba Longa drowned and it started a commotion that the river was dangerous but really not.
