My name is Priscilla Britez Vanney I’m 13 years old. I’m Argentinean and my mother-tongue is Spanish. I can speak English apart from Spanish.

I started learning English when I was at primary school when I was six years old. In primary school we listened songs, played games, doing activities, study grammar and vocabulary. And in the primary school I learn Italian. I don´t like the lessons because the teacher was so boring.

Now I’m study English at secondary school. We study a lot and do a little speaking but I’m in the bilingual course so I’m stay in the school more hours and we do more subjects than the rest of the courses. And in the secondary school I learning French. And I don´t like the lessons because the teacher is boring.

Outside school I don´t do more things in English but I listen music by Melanie Martinez and The Living Tombstone obviously this music is in English. And outside school I take classes of English with a private teacher. I like the lessons because the teacher is wonder.

I like learning English by listen to music and play games. When I do a mistake I correct writing the correct answer.

I learned English in primary school when I was 7 years old. We didn't play many games or listen to any songs, only do exercises and listening that were confusing. It was boring but I liked the language.

 In secondary school we are playing games, doing kahoots, and more interesting things! it's better to study and have fun than to be bored in the class.

Apart from school I play video games in english, i have seen films and i listen to music too. I would like to travel to Switzerland or Luxembourg.

I like learning, playing games, listening to music, doing activities and practicing pronunciation. I'm a little shy because participation is not my favorite thing but I am trying to participate more in class.

When I was at primary school. I was 6 years old. In primary school we listened a lot of songs a we saw a lot of videos, we sang too much. We also played a lots of games. We learned many vocabulary, but we didn’t do much speaking.

At secondary school we study a lot of vocabulary, gramar, and speaking. We work with the books and we correct our grammar all together. When we finish practising vocabulary we do tests. We do translate, but not frecuently, we do it when we don’t know the meaning of the word, we don’t use computers.

Outside school I really speak a lot of English because my parents needs my help with some things in their work, so I help them, or they help me too. I listen so many songs in English, so I can improve my english listening. I sometimes watch English movies with subtitles, I don’t have any favourite movie. I’m learning German, French, I would like to learn Russian, Japanese and Swedish. I would travel to Sweden.

I like learning English by playing games. My English speaking is not the best, but I’m trying to improve it, I know is almost impossible that I won’t make any mistake, but I want to make the number of mistakes minor. My dream is to be a polyglot since I'm very young.

I started learning English in primary school, but it was very boring. We just listened to a few songs and sang them, but we didn’t practise a lot of speaking or grammar. I learned more English with my private teacher.

But now, I’m learning English at secondary school and it is definitely so much better! We study English almost all the time, because we are in a bilingual course and there are a lot of subjects in English, like Drama, TICS, EDIC, etc. In English lessons, we practise grammar, vocabulary, speaking and listening. We do a test at the end of each unit, too

Outside school, I don’t speak English that much. But, I listen to songs in English, I watch American series and I write short detective stories in English often. Sometimes, I also talk with native people because of my mother friends, who are from London.

I like learning English by listening to songs and completing the lyrics. I enjoy participating in English lessons, too. But my favourite way to learn English is by playing games, specially Kahoot.

 I started learning English when I was in primary school. We played games, learn basic vocabulary, but we didn’t learn much. That’s why I went to classes about English outside school. There we read stories, learned different  tenses and we practiced more.

 Now, in secondary school, the English level is better, because I’m in the bilingual course. We have different subjects in English like History, Drama, ICT where we read literature and we do presentations. And we have “EDIC” where we learn more vocabulary and we read books.

  

 Outside school, I like some singers (like Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa) and I learn the lyrics to practice my pronunciation. I had traveled to the USA, and I liked listening to native speakers. I also like speaking with my parents, because they know English really well, and they help me. I don’t watch many movies in English, but sometimes I like watching with subtitles in English. To practice French, I like talking with my grand-mother or my aunt and uncle, and they help me with pronunciation, that it’s really difficult.

 I like practising with my friends, doing exercises or playing games. I like playing a game with my mom, in which she says a number, and I say it in English and in French. I like that game because it’s easy for me.

In primary school, we had English lessons but in my opinion, they wasn’t very good because we only learned basic vocabulary and we never practise our pronunciation. At least we played many games and we read some stories. The teacher in general was not bad, it was just a little bit boring but not in a bad way.

Now I’m at secondary school and everything is different, we practise a lot of vocabulary and grammar. The classes are really good and very funnies because we listen to many songs and we play many games. Our teachers are very nice and they always help us if we need then. I’m part of the Bilingual project so the English it’s very important, almost all of our classes are in that language. Some of our subjects in English are obviously English, Edic, Tics, etc.

Outside school I don’t really practise my English by doing exercises or things like that, I usually watch movies, videos or series in that language so I can hear other people talking with different accents, like British, Australian, American, etc., I also listen to music because I love how the English sounds when other people are singing.

I think that it’s better learning a language by doing something that you can enjoyed than doing something that you think it’s boring or stupid. Like listening to music, watching movies or videos, talking to natives, writing down your mistakes, and more. That are the things that I do and they work for me.

At the moment I am learning English and French at secondary school. We practise a lot, we do writing tasks, speaking and listening too. After finishing a unit, we do an exam about grammar and vocabulary. We use a lot the books and also speak a lot in class.

I practised English outside school last year to take the English exam. To memorize and practise, I write many times sentences to practise the times expressions and the verbs. Also I listened to songs or audios to do exercises about it. I practised speaking whit relatives and teachers.

I love learning English about speaking and writing, I think it is the easiest way to practise. Also reading the Lyrics of a song is easy and you practise the listening. French it’s a little bit difficult so I have to write sentences many times and reading multiple times whit friends.

I started learning English when I was seven-year-old. At first I didn’t like it because I didn’t pay attention. I don’t remember too much. Since second form I loved English. I had a lovely teacher who helped me. I played games, read some stories and listened to music. I became very clever and started to study hard and be the best. I remembered that my marks were the highest of the class.

However, I improved my English when I did the English exam to stay at this secondary school. I studied grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking. Now I am part of the bilingual program. I achieved my goal! I have a lot of subjects in English, so I have a lot of vocabulary apart of English. 

Outside school I speak with my grandmother in English and I read some grammar or vocabulary tips, also I watch films and listen to music. 

Personality, I like learning English by doing exercises and activities and the teacher give me some tips for my speech and writing. I would like to improve my speaking.

I started learning English in primary school, when I was six years old. In primary school, when we were trying to learn, we used techniques to practise/memorise like playing games, colouring pictures, listening to music and listening activities. 

Now I’m at secondary school, we study a lot of english grammar and vocabulary, we speak a lot too. We do some exercises in a book we have about English. Everytime we finish a unit in that book, we have a test. We do some listening too, but they’re more seen in the tests. I really enjoy that sometimes we play games like bingo. 

Outside school, I usually speak a lot of English, like with my sister, sometimes we speak it. I love to watch series and movies in English, it's rare for me to watch series or movies in Spanish. I listen a lot to English music like Taylor Swift, The weeknd, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, etc. I would love to travel to London or New york.

I love doing activities with games, speaking and reading. When I make mistakes I get a little bit frustrated even though it’s normal to make them. I consider myself really good at english. I love the British accent, I hope I learn it sometime. 

In primary school I learned English with lots of games and songs. Each year we had a different topic. All the forms had to do a presentation about that and do some special activities to get points. At the end of the year the teachers decided which form won the competition.

Now I am at secondary school and I have lots of subjects in English. I have EDIC, Drama, ICT, and obviously English. In the English classes we learn different topics of vocabulary and grammar in each unit of the book. Every week we listen to a song and do an activity about it. Before the test we play games and do some activities to practise. I started to learn French at school too. 

Outside school I only speak English with my friends on the bus. I always listen to music in EnglishI love Taylor Swift’s music. When I listen to music I read the lyrics too. I also watch series and movies in English with subtitles.

I like practicing English speaking in pairs. I like playing games to learn about vocabulary. I always do the revision pages of the book to practise grammar rules. 

 

 My name is Dafne Daponte and I’m 12 years old. I’m Argentinian and I speak Spanish, English and a little of French 

I started learning English at primary school when I was 6 years old. In first form, we did songs to learn, for example: a song with the days of the weekend or all the colours. But last year we read a book (Sherlock Holmes) and we did a lot of exercises in books.

Now, I’m studying English in secondary school. To enter to school I had classes of English and also, I had to do an entrance course and an entrance exam too. At the moment I have 5 subjects in English, I don´t like one of them because is about theatre, and I don’t like it. Often in secondary school, we listen to audios to do an exercise in the book.

Outside school, I don´t speak English, but I listen to music. My father’s watch series in English with subtitles in Spanish, for example: Friends, How I met your mother or The office and I watch it too because they see it at dinner time. 

I would like to learn English by going to places that speak in the language for example: USA or England. And also a funny way is playing a game, for example: Play Kahoot.

I’m in Secondary School now and everything has changed a lot. Now, we practise a lot of speaking and we don’t speak English only in the class of English, we have other subjects where we speak in English. We read a lot of books in English and listen to songs every Wednesday. We practise a lot of vocabulary and grammar too.

Outside school I practise English speaking with friends or with myself, I watch films and I listen to a lot of American or English singers, I love Taylor Swift. I have a book that has one page in English and the other in Spanish so sometimes I read it. I’d like to travel to London or to LA to improve my English skills and speak with natives of different nationalities. 

I prefer to learn English by listening to music and reading the lyrics, which is something that I like a lot or by watching films for the accent.  I’d love to travel to England because I love the British accent and I’d like to speak with some native.

Now I studying English in a bilingual secondary school, I think that was a good idea study at this school because of that. We study new vocabulary and grammar with our students books, in the books we do a lot of exercises. Also we speaking with each other and sometimes we play a Kahoot or listening to songs and complete de lyrics. When we finish a unit usally we do vocabulary tests. I have a lot of subjets in English like TICS, EDIC, English and Drama. 

Outside school I learn english watching movies and series with subtitules in English, at the moment I’m watching “The Office” with my mum. I listen music in english too, like pop, indie, rock and more. Other thing that I do is reading books, my favorite is “Night Circus”. 

I like learning English by reading, watching and listen because for me is more funny and easy but also I enjoy learning in the school. 

My native language is Spanish. I started learning English and French in primary school. We listened to and sang a lot of songs, we read some stories, and we practised grammar and vocabulary.

Now, I’m in secondary bilingual school. To enter to this school, you must do an entrance course and an exam. We study a lot of grammar and vocabulary, and usually we play games. We have 5 subjects in English.

Outside school, for learn more English, I write some summaries, I watch some movies and I listening to music and reading the lyrics at the same time. One of my favourite English singers are Mitski. I’m not so interested in French.

I like learning English by playing games. A lot of games that I play are in English, so it helps me to learn.

When I was little kid I had a private teacher because I wasn´t  that very good she taught me until third grade,now I am a bit,not that good,but good at it.Outside school I learn English by listening to music and reading books or comics in English.
