         <description><![CDATA[<div>A spiral galaxy is a type of galaxy made from the primordial collapse of individual gas clouds early on with the history of the universe. Composed mainly of old stars and gas clouds, spiral galaxies look really nice because of their special shapes, colors, and designs. Some examples of spiral galaxies include our galaxy which is the Milky Way Galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Triangulum Galaxy.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Elliptical Galaxy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An <strong>elliptical galaxy</strong> is a type of <strong>galaxy</strong> with an approximately ellipsoidal shape and a smooth, nearly featureless image. Stars found inside of <strong>elliptical galaxies</strong> are on average much older than stars found in spiral <strong>galaxies</strong>.<br><br>How it's formed -<br>the Milky Way is due to crash into the Andromeda <strong>Galaxy</strong> in a few billion years. When two spirals collide, they lose their familiar shape, morphing into the less-structured <strong>elliptical galaxies</strong>.<br><br>Examples -<br><br></div><ul><li>M49.</li><li>M59.</li><li>M60 (NGC 4649)</li><li>M87 (NGC 4486), whose supermassive black hole is the first black hole to be imaged by the Event Horizon Telescope.</li><li>M89.</li><li>M105 (NGC 3379)</li><li>IC 1101, one of the largest <strong>galaxies</strong> in the observable universe.</li><li>Maffei 1, the closest giant <strong>elliptical galaxy</strong></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Irregular Galaxy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An irregular galaxy is a galaxy that does not have a distinct regular shape, unlike a spiral or an elliptical galaxy. Irregular galaxies do not fall into any of the regular classes of the Hubble sequence, and they are often chaotic in appearance, with neither a nuclear bulge nor any trace of spiral arm structure.<br><br>How it was formed-<br>&nbsp;It seems that they are typically formed through gravitational interactions and mergers of other galaxies. Most, if not all of them began life as some other galaxy type. Then through interactions with each other, they became distorted and lost some, if not all of their shape and features.<br><br>Examples-<br>The best known examples of irregular galaxies are the Small and Large Magellanic clouds. These are companion galaxies to our own Milky Way, and can be easily seen at dark sites in the Southern Hemisphere. The Large (left) and Small (right) Magellanic clouds are prime examples of irregular galaxies.</div>]]></description>
