Scared/ fear, there is a certain hesitation coming from blanche. indicating that although she is aware of her actions, she might not be the most comfortable with it. This can be seen from the line “You – you stand over there! At the end of the scene he gets very emotionally charged and seems to be ready to harm Blanche at a moment's notice. The use of closeness and space is very evident in this scene as in the start, Stanley and Blanche seem to be sharing a close space but towards the end, Blanche tried to distance herself from Stanley as much as possible. 
This, in the context of this scene, creates an overall feeling of worry for both characters in their own ways and makes the overall scene more impactful compared to if they were in separate rooms
