James I (1603-1625)

I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King to translate the Bible into English and called it The King James Bible. I was honored to be the King that founded one of the most prominent settlements in the newly acquired land of America, I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am King Charles I and I dissolved the governed body multiple times without their permission because I was having problems with the parliament. The English Civil War broke out in 1642 when I was king because of my feud with the parliament. The forces I led were called Royalists, and the other side were called Roundheads, I was not able to win the English Civil War.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am king Oliver and I became king by becoming a Puritan Army General during the English Civil War, I was called the Lord Protector. When I was king I abolished the monarchy and ruled as a military dictator, I also established Commonwealth. I led the conquest of Ireland and Scotland, and I believe in a puritanical society .

James II (1685-1688)

I am king James II and my brother is Charles II who has all "illegitimate" children, so I will be the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. I faced a lot of problems with religion because England was mostly Protestant, this encouraged the Glorious Revolution of England. I solidified the Constitutional Monarchy, I also laid the foundation for the English Bill of Rights which limited the powers of the monarch.

William & Mary (1688-1702)
