At 80 meters underground, there are the salt decanting rafts of the Nemocón mine. Exploited since pre-hispanic times this mine remains open only for its visit to the public. Here you will find tunnels and galleries reinforced with the so-called "German doors" made of eucalyptus logs petrified by years of saline filtration, saturation tanks, salt cascades. It is a pleasant surprise in a small town as colorful as Nemocon, to find so majestic space. Less pretensions than the salt cathedral. A rustic place with an atmosphere that captures between the lighting and the kindness of the guides and residents.

What to say about the Tayrona National Park that has not already been said. He is a totally magical place that possesses the best beaches of the Colombian Caribbean, but surrounded by jungle, gigantic stones and Sierras. It's really hard to describe with words the beauty of this place. I recommend not hiring any tour to do it, we did it on our own without any problem. We took a bus from Taganga to the market of Santa Marta (less than 20 minutes) and there another to the entrance of the Chestnut (1 hour), once there we paid the entrance to the National park and walked a little less than 2 hours in the jungle but without more difficulty to the beach of reefs.

In Tabio, at 45 minutes from Bogotá, there is a mountain of legend.

The Peña de Juaica is a majestic mountain located 45 minutes from the savannah of Bogotá, between the municipalities of Tabio and Tenjo. At a height of 3,100 meters above sea level, today this enigmatic place has a magical connotation that attracts many visitors and curious. In the world it is already known as an open door to other sensory dimensions, because according to the connoisseurs it allows to observe lights and unidentified objects on its top. There are even those who argue that they are UFOs. However, there are other versions, also in the category of legend. It is said that in that mountain inhabited the feminine '. The male was in the hill of Majui, in the municipality of Cota. When the Mohans were for love, rains and storms appeared in Tabio. Truth or fiction, the only clear thing is that in the municipality of Tabio, 45 minutes from Bogota, there is a natural attraction that many do not know. A majestic mountain where myths and mysteries combine to captivate the minds of skeptics and the enthusiasm of nature's preservatives.
