I won’t write much because I know that if I do I’ll probably end up going off on a tangent but I just wanted to say thank you for being you! the pythons, the rutles and everything else you have made have brought so much joy into my life and have allowed me to become a more confident and aspirational person - I dedicate more of my time to the comedy and film work of my own and I actually believe that I have a bigger future in the industry, all thanks to you!

you’re a marvellous and inspiring person - you have encouraged so many to do what they love and that’s incredible

monty python also allowed me to find the most amazing group of friends!

ERIC. okay we did that already. Hi eric !! I decided to put a message on here because of a FEW reasons.
First: and most obvious, I think you are so awesome! And funny but that’s a given. In Python, and Do Not Adjust Your Set (favourite show like… ever!) and Too Much Sun! And What About Dick and Casper and Wind In The Willows and Missing Pieces and Splitting Heirs and all the other movies I’ve seen to date.
Secondly: and more importantly, you’ve not only INSPIRED me but you’ve also HELPED me through things (without realizing, it’s like a superpower…). See I’m autistic and that can be a great struggle at times, but Python (DNAYS and all related including you) has helped me when things have gotten tough. During these past months where I’ve been looking more into Python, I’ve also pushed myself to do more for what I am hoping to be a future career in filmmaking. I’ve even started my first screenplay. And of course everyone knows Python would be nothing without your fame, intelligence, kindness, height, personality, and… I’ve lost track of what I was going to say next but that doesn’t matter. 
ANYWAY! This message is getting long so I’ll nip it here. 
To sum it up: thanks, I suppose… 😁

I've known Python ever since I was a kid, I remember my parents watch the meaning of life. And I remember one time my dad showed my siblings and I holy grail. And I feel in love with that movie, it became my favourite movie (and it still is)
As I got older I refound life of brian and the meaning of life. I would watch them almost every week. And now that I am older, I finally found flying Circus, and that really made my fall even more in love with python. I rewatch at least one python related things almost every week.

Two seasons of flying Circus and half of the o2 show ALL IN ONE WEEK.
At first I thought that this was an "unhealthy" obsession or an addiction. But I now see it as a blessing (a blessing from the lord) I have found something that brings me joy and happiness. Something that helps me on day to day basis. Something that helped me find more people like me (and you probably see all of us on twitter talking nonsense under your tweets) people that I actually get excited when they message me. People I feel glad to call them my friends. Friends that when I don't hear from them in a while I get worried, and it's all thanks to you (and of course the other pythons as well) so thank you Eric, thank you so much!
