2. Provide students with further opportunities to develop the skills necessary to tackle the multifaceted and interconnected challenges of the environmental, social and economic pillars of sustainability.

3. Empower students to engage in action-oriented and participatory learning, reflect on their responsibilities and act as a voice for sustainability within their wider community.

Staff are also expected to complete the course and can self-enrol. The course is the same for both students and staff.

You’ll also find some activities we can be used to embed the course and key aspects of sustainability (linked to the Sustainability Education principles). 

All programmes are encouraged to embed at least one of these into their material, which could be through group tutorials, larger workshops, or other engagement events. This includes material to better understand the role of different disciplines and consider the use of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
