I have came up with the idea of interviewing people. I also wrote questions that we were going to use for our interviews, I booked out the Sony audio recorder, and figured out how it works, and I used it to record all of the audio while Laura was interviewing people. Furthermore, I chose the best stories and cut out our voice and applied noise reduction to it and mixed the audio so it sounds a bit better however it could have sounded better but because we recorded it outside it was a bit noisy. 

I also made some storyboards to imagine how we could animate the scenes and we settled on an idea to keep a stable mid shot for the whole animation to make it look more like an interview.

We have had a look at the set made by Caroline it came out looking really good and its portable you can fold it and detach and reattach easily, We had a play around with the lighting and find the right one. I did lypsyncying for myseelf and max and caroline because the are chinesse and for me it was quite easier. However they did try to do it aswell but they ended up being more focused on creating the models and dolls

It was a very difficult task it took us around 4 hours and around 4 takes. He used icing to make the set which costed him a lot of money. I helped him out by making the character lips and doing the lip-sync for him as well. I helped him set up the lighting and make sure everything is right with technical stuff. I also helped him animate the spaceship and I was pressing shoot bottom on the keypad while he was animating the characters, he had some struggle with animating the taller alien on the left because he was standing and it was hard to keep the character from falling. His set came out looking really pretty and colourful. however to keep it fit to the rest of the animation he made the background wall dark purple gradient to blue. We also had some struggle with spaceship because we put it to high up and the final resolution cuts the top and the bottom of so the spaceship was not visible. we ended up reshooting just the spaceship flying across but lower and he said he will put it in post production, I hope this will work. ]]> 2022-12-04 19:39:54 UTC https://padlet.com/a0343758/agh347qaqbxcp96z/wish/2408223831 12/12/2022 a0343758 https://padlet.com/a0343758/agh347qaqbxcp96z/wish/2428159078 I recorded my part of the animation with the set I have build using Maxes design and instructions and Laura's puppets I also used a small mouse made by Max, he also gave me a big enough box for the set, I ended up making a little bus model ]]> 2022-12-23 23:30:14 UTC https://padlet.com/a0343758/agh347qaqbxcp96z/wish/2428159078 What i learned a0343758 https://padlet.com/a0343758/agh347qaqbxcp96z/wish/2438180380 Through out this project I have learned how to create a movie in a group with results of good quality production, I also learned what to watch out for while filming in terms of technical criteria, Like I learned to keep an eye out on the resolution so its does not crop the top and bottom, I also learned how to lip-sync very well and quickly, I learned a lot about animating stop motion and how to make a set.  Most of the lessons I learned on my mistakes. I know for the next time to make set more stable and heavier so it doesn't move during recording and perhaps pin down the characters so i can move the rest of the body easily without worrying about repositioning them, Or just make the puppets more flexible, I also got skills on interviewing people and working in the group like dividing tasks and helping each other out.
