Creating my suns

I scratched my other sun ideas and start to make it look like gases to show the suns giving energy. There’s me attaching some of the armes to finish the suns.

My wall relief features a penguin and two son sculptures, is a resemblance of family strength and loyalty. The penguin is a symbol of family bonds which they are often seen in groups taking care of their young ones. The two suns resemble the energy and warmth it provides us and for nature to thrive. I just wanted this to represent my family and how thankful I am to be able to live life in a good position.

I cut out all the shapes for the sculpture or stand I’m gonna create.

Here I had all my hand molded and I started to do all my nailers with that tool.

Right here I cut out or carved out my minors on fingers and this some touch ups in my hand.

I cut my hand in half with a wire tool to be able to start carving out the inside.

once I hallowed both sides out. I had put some spacers in on the both sisters and poked holes to make some vents in the fingers.

Once I put my hand together in the correct position. I rolled out a worm then stuck it around the whole hand.

Once the clay worm is on then you start to massage it in till it’s fully connected both sides evenly.

Here is when the seem line is all done and what it should look like all smoothly combined together. I also cut out near my knuckles to make it look for defined.

Right here I started to to my majors or palm lines which were a little annoying to get it to look right but once you get it. It should look smooth like that.

Getting my hand more smoothed and touched up around the fingers and knuckle area.

I cut slits near knuckle to be able to start bending fingers in correct positions.

I let my piece dry overnight to start carving out the smaller details.

I started with a clay log. Then carved out then inside to make it a bowl shape.

Here I attached the wing and hollowed out the inside of the tail.

I hollowed out through the inside of the bowl to where the tale is connected.

Right here I rounded out the edges on the tale and made them more flat towards the edges to make them more realistic.

This is my end result of the whale bowl that I created. I definitely could’ve added more detailed like mini barnacles and the lines near the front for the whale but other then that I think I did the body and the bowl part correct.

Started layering the papers to make a thick layer for the mask structure.

I started to add the face features of the mask with the paper mash.

I finished all the face features of the mask and now after I put the paper layer over it to make it smoothe.

I painted the peas blue and the eyes red to make it pop out a bit.

Here I added the stones to the mouth and also black sand in the eyes and the nose.

I braided this piece of fabric together. First I cut three strands and then I glided one end to make it stuck together. Then I attached it to the mask.

Then I added this rope to the top to make it have like some hair or some features that could pop out.
