         <description><![CDATA[<div>Disciples of Jesus began to create Christian communities in Asia. The teachings said that Jesus was the savior sent to earth from God to save the people from sin. At first the teachings were passed on orally, but eventually it was written down in the form of letters from apostles to Churches. These writings were eventually organized into the new testament. By 100 AD Christian churches had been established in most major cities. However, many Romans came to view christians as dangerous to Rome because they did not worship state gods and emperors. The Roman government began to persecute christians.  </div>]]></description>
