1. Everything is relative, as most people don't know what they want unless it's put into context.

2. If everything is relative, can't there be absolutes?

3. According to the search results, the answer to the question "If everything is relative, can't there be absolutes?" is yes, there can be absolutes. While some things are relative, if everything were relative, then it would be self-refuting. For example, it is always true that the number seven is greater than the number five, and something cannot bring itself into existence. These are absolute truths that are universally true and independent of all other factors or contexts. On the other hand, there can be relative truths that change depending on the person or situation. Therefore, while everything may be relative to some extent, there can still be absolutes that are universally true.

4. https://www.thymindoman.com/the-mysticism-of-relativity-and-the-absolute/

https://carm.org/relativism/are-there-absolute-truths-or-is-everything-relative/

So, it is hard to select between option A and B.
However, if we use -A as a "decoy", it is clearly true that A is better than -A. in this situation, people might think that A is better than B.
As a result, thanks to -A, a decoy, we can compare option A with B, meaning that people are relative.

2. Is decoy effect able to be applied to every fields like selecting tour course?

3. The decoy effect, also known as the attraction effect or asymmetric dominance effect, is a cognitive bias that influences decision-making. It occurs when consumers change their preference between two options when presented with a third option, known as the "decoy," that is asymmetrically dominated
1
3
.
The decoy effect can be applied to various fields, including selecting a tour course. By strategically introducing a decoy option that is designed to nudge individuals towards a specific choice, tour organizers can influence decision-making and steer individuals towards a particular tour course
1
. The decoy option should be asymmetrically dominated by the target and competitor options, meaning that the target option is rated better than the decoy on certain attributes while the competitor option might be better on some attributes but worse on others
3
.
It is important to note that the decoy effect is most effective when there are only three options in play: the target, competitor, and decoy options
3
. By understanding and utilizing the principles of the decoy effect, tour organizers can potentially influence individuals' decision-making and increase the likelihood of selecting a specific tour course.

Q. People are inclined to make a decision based on which value they put emphasis on. Then, how does relativity effect and personal value contradict when making a decision, and which would have more effects?

A. When making a decision, people are often influenced by their personal values and beliefs. However, the relativity trap can also come into play, which is a psychological bias that causes people to make irrational choices based on relative rather than absolute information. This can lead to decisions that are not in line with their true preferences. Ethical relativism is a related concept that suggests that moral practices and beliefs are relative to the culture or society in which they exist. While this theory has been criticized for failing to recognize that some societies have better reasons for their views, it does raise important issues about the influence of culture on our beliefs and values. Overall, both personal values and the relativity trap can have significant effects on decision-making. However, the extent to which each factor influences a decision likely depends on the individual and the specific situation.

1. Summary- People tend to think and judge everything in relative terms, based on their previous experiences or examples.

2. Question- Can't people have their own preferences, values, etc. if they don't think relatively and make decisions or thoughts based on previous experiences or examples?

3.Answer- People's preferences, values, and individual beliefs can play a significant role in shaping their decisions and thoughts, even if they don't solely rely on previous experiences or examples. Here are some considerations to further explore this perspective:
Inherent Individuality: Each person has their unique set of values, beliefs, and preferences that contribute to how they perceive and respond to situations. These intrinsic factors can guide their decisions independently of external experiences.
Moral and Ethical Considerations: Moral dilemmas and ethical choices often stem from deeply held personal values that may not be solely derived from past experiences. People may make decisions based on their sense of right and wrong, regardless of what's happened before.
Intuition and Gut Feelings: Sometimes people make decisions based on intuition or gut feelings that arise without conscious reference to prior experiences. These intuitive judgments can stem from a subconscious assimilation of various factors.
Uniqueness of Novel Situations: When faced with new, unprecedented situations, individuals might need to rely more on their core values and principles than on prior experiences or examples, as those may not provide a clear guide.
Long-Term Goals and Aspirations: Decisions related to long-term goals, ambitions, and life directions might not be solely influenced by past experiences. People often make choices aligned with their desired future outcomes rather than past events.
Emotional Influences: Emotions can strongly influence decisions and thoughts. These emotions might not always be tied directly to previous experiences but can arise from internal beliefs, desires, or even spontaneous reactions.
Cultural and Social Influences: Cultural background and societal norms can significantly shape one's preferences and values, which might not be solely a result of personal experiences but of broader cultural conditioning.
Self-Discovery and Growth: Personal growth and self-discovery can lead to shifts in preferences and values over time. Such changes might not be directly related to past experiences but could be a result of ongoing introspection and learning.

4. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjJqPzY5M6AAxXLmlYBHUHnBzIQFnoECBcQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fonlinelibrary.wiley.com%2Fdoi%2Fabs%2F10.1002%2Fbdm.600&usg=AOvVaw2RjkwTAHumVcYMg2-jfINb&opi=89978449
