Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

* Review and Inspect school records relating to their child

* Have their child assessed to determine special ed. eligibility

* Attending the IEP meeting

Each and every school district is required to identify and evaluate students with disabilities (SWD)

1928: Seeing-eye dogs for individuals with blindness are introduced in the US.
