The hand crank flashlight is the most innovative you don't have to keep on replacing batteries, because to turn the flashlight you just turn the crank and then the crank turns a generator in the flashlight."You turn a crank on the outside of the flashlight and the crank turns a generator inside the flashlight. A generator is a machine that stores energy by charging a battery. When the generator turns, it converts kinetic energy to electrical energy, which is then stored in a battery as potential energy. The potential energy stored in the battery can be used right away or saved for later."

when you use the hand crank it turns the generator in the flashlight, and the more you keep using energy for the crank the more energy the flashlight has that would not need batteries. That way The Flashlight You can also crank outside of the flashlight and the crank turns the generator into the flashlight.

I think that the flashlight is the best because you wouldn't need any batterys for it. You would just have to run the crank to get light. That would be a good thing for the rescue workers because they will need to be able to see to save someone. With out the crank and they run out batterys they would be left in the dark. When all they would need to do is turn the crank and the flashlight works. Thats why I think the handcrank flashlight is the best.
