In the beginning of my journey here at St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc. (SMCBI). The most wonderful experience that I can't forget here at SMCBI is when my 3rd year batch having an performance activity which all of my team/groupmates were wearing a Aeta attire.

It was a wonderful experience because it was my first time to be performed in front of my classmates and in front of Ma'am Cecille Tirambulo.

All of our body was covered by charcoal which perfect fit to the color of a true Aeta, it was so awkward facing my classmates with that looked but we/my teammates delivered the performance perfectly. I'm so proud of my self and also to my groupmates for the job well done.

Each day was magical in my school life. I've experienced so many things, there are good and there are also bad. Every day I learn new things here and enjoy it with my friends.

I remember my first presentation in our class. I didn’t want to do it, but finally I did it and that one was my best moment. When I went to present I felt afraid, and then when I presented I felt so good for the effort I applied on. My experience with Smcbi was very challenging and overcoming my personal struggles was not an easy feat.My life at school made me learn something new almost every day. It helped me to gain understanding and to succeed not only in studies but also in co-curricular activities. It taught me a lot of life skills, for which I am grateful to this day. The memories of high school life are the incomparable part.

I love my school and my school life. Every day I learn new things here and enjoy it with my friends. All my teachers love me and always support me. I have learned discipline and punctuality from my teachers, and it will help me a lot in my future.But the most important thing that I can assure you that many of you have forgotten to complete your homework.

And you know what, when I used to forget to do my homework I gave elaborate excuses to my teacher as to why I was not able to complete it.And also when it's l unch time was used to be the best part of the day. This experienced happened last month, in that night, we go outside to buy some snacks because it is our break/activity period with my classmates, as we finish eating our snacks we goes back to our respected room, me and my classmates happily climbs the stairs, because our room is in the 3rd floor which is very far, I don't know what comes to our mind and someone started marching loudly, I followed their loud steps and that loud noise echoed to the other rooms and it bothers that one teacher who is the P.O.D/Disciplinarian of the school and we have been called by her because of that dumb thing we do, as my other classmates go to her, I ran to the classroom and pretended nothing happened, then as they went back to the room, I laughed hard because they are scolded but I'm not there because I ran fast to our room like nothing happened, and that is the most memorable experience I've ever had her in St. Mary's College of Bansalan.

One of the best experiences I have ever had in college is being true to yourself made new friends, took interesting classes, and learn to live without my parents' constant supervision during School years.

Hi everyone! before I start writing my experienced here at St. Mary's, I want to introduce first myself. I am Jhon Ryan R. Diez, I'm 20 years of existence. Taking up the course of BSED stands for Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Sciences. I'm second year college now and I'm so blessed and thankful that I'm here now continuing my study. I am that kind of person that eager to learn, willing to take risks to discover new things and above all, I am that kind person that willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of my goals.

Way back 2021-2022, when I first entered in this campus. I felt mixed emotion because I'm happy and a little bit nervous because I'm afraid to make new friends here. But suddenly, a few month's after enrollment, I met some strangers and turn into friendship and that is so unexpected. We both treated each other like a siblings or a family. Later on, we discovered that college is not all about competing each other but it's all about collaboration and unity. So that we all passed our 1st year journey.

And now, we're all in the 2nd year level and continue to fight the battles that we've encounter along the way. The moment that I've met them and became friends is the moment that I encoded in my heart because it was a blessing nor a gift from God that need to be kept and valued. The only reason why everyone loves to go to school is to study and learn and because of the fun and joy that it brings.
When the face-to-face classes started, I am overwhelmed and grateful because, after 2 years finally, SMCBI has given me a chance to know my classmates and to know the different personalities that they have.

College years are difficult, there is fighting and misunderstanding but it's all-natural, and because of my friends and classmates I find all things easier, we can't stand alone in life because no man is an island and we need companions for us to be motivated and for us to pursue the goals that we wanted in life. I am blessed that I belong to this group of people who don't let you down but instead cheer you up to do the things that you think you can't.

I am Imran M. Magarang, a Muslim who studying in a school which shows and molds the values of being a Marians. As a Muslim in St. Mary's College of Bansalan, Inc., I had the responsibilities and challenges to represent my identity as a Muslim. The reason I was studying in a Catholic school because my parents were drawn me to a school that focused on the importance of values, virtues, and character development. I was in a school environment which was so different, yet so similar to my own beliefs. In fact, what struck me most about my experience of studying in a Catholic school was the sense of what we shared in our similarity.

In the process of learning more about one another and about ourselves, commonalities surfaced and remained. We came to recognise that we shared more similarities than we had differences. But this could not have taken place if respect was not foremost. SMCBI proclaimed the importance of virtues, respect was fundamental, and was exemplified by the teachers and us, the students.

In this way, our school, SMCBI, shaped the identities of my classmates and I, comprising our journey as our mutual discovery. This was an experience that not only strengthened my identity, but also taught me the skill of navigating differences and diversity in a confident manner.

The timeline in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc. Develop me to be strong and courageous, for almost 4 years of studying in this wonderful school. I have experience the best moments in my senior high school years, where i've met people that now i consider as my brothers and sisters that help me to go through all challenges with a smile and still figth even things gets worse.
Everything was wonderful and amazing, then the pandemic started, where it stole two years of getting to know each other and oppurtunities in my life, but still even the pandemic can't hinder the strong bonds that i have for my friends. My unbiological brothers made me the person, I am today.
I'm still happy, because despite of those happenings our friendship is still as strong as we started.

Now that I'm in my 2nd year in college i've realized that this course is the best and now i don't regret choosing this course. Because i've met the most incredible people, where we are all united, we laugh so hard that we can't feel our stomach, they made me realize that this path will leads with a big smile. This people made me for who i really am, to go outside my comfort zone to develop and improve myself. The only decision that i don't regret is meeting my current circle in college, whete laughter is our medicine to cope up with our problems. The memories that i have with this people is the most worth remembering in my college years, the sillyness of each of my friends, the craziness we have when we are together, the games we played, and especially the moment i spend with them. The only journey that i'm willing to retake for a million times is with this most precious people the Sciences batch 2021-2022. The brothers not by blood, but by heart.

Meeting this batch is a precious core memory to me, where i realized that i am not too much and more than enough for them. There is a lot of experiences to be told but, as a marian I am grateful to be a student in this institution. As a 24 year old I started my freshmen year in st. Mary's collegr of bansalan. Different environment, different teachers, different students or classmates to go with. But since I know that I am quiet older than this guys that is why I am very understanding to the folks and also a responsible to myself. I considered myself as flower that has been withered for such a long time consequently of the certain situations that happened in my life like the pandemic that made me lose myself holistically. Additionally, when I went to college, I was very afraid of the possibilities that might happened because of the uncertainty within myself. I was deprived of socialization for a long time that's why when I enter the school of St. Mary's College of Bansalan I was so nervous and trembling.

As my journey continued in this school, I was fortunate that I was able to make new friends and it significantly changed me as a person. I am the person before who was afraid of trying something new but my friends and this school helped me develop my strengths and weaknesses as a student and a person. Furthermore, I am grateful to have such circle of friends who were very supportive and always there to lift me up, that's why I promised to myself that this withered flower will eventually bloom and able to bring color to someone's life because this home had contributed a lot to my development as a student.

The Early Bird

In morning before I went to school, first I went to the bath and took bath, after I will prepare my things like bag ballpen etc.
I'm ready to go to school at exactly 6:15 AM, after I arrive at SMCBI, I went to our room and clean the surrounding, I start my day in school by a prayer. The most exciting part in school is the recess, but I don't like to bought at the canteen because its too expensive. The school is verygood to me and nice the environment.
I'm very thankful because SMCBI accept me in this beloved and wonderful school in Bansalan. I thankful also to the RVM Sisters because they accept my enrollment. Before I end this story don't mind the grammar because I'm not an English Major thank you for your time.

My 1st and 2nd yr. college experience has been the fulfilling, and I have learned more than I could have imagined. Throughout my time at this school, I have made many new friends and found a community that is unlike any other.

This school has provided me with an education that has helped me grow in ways that are both academic and personal. The instructors here at this school are so challenging and pressured, they provide their students with an environment where they can ask questions and learn from others' experiences and in teaching. As well as being academically challenging, it is also very important to be socially aware here at this school. We are encouraged to get involved in clubs and organizations on campus so we can met new people who share our interests. This helps us develop our brainstorming skills as well as expand our social skills which will help us throughout life.

Overall, my time here at this school (SMCBi) in 1st and 2nd years has been one of good experiences of my college life so far. The classes offered here are challenging but interesting, which keeps you engaged throughout your day even when it seems like you're not paying attention in class or studying for exams. The instructors here especially like Sir Lexter Gabica, Doc Evelyn Pansoy inspired us students to think critically about what we're learning and how it applies to them real world of science and in teaching.

The first time we met (ka-Syensyas) is when we had a school tour here in SMCBI, we're not familiar with each other, our eyes met just only for a seconds then walked passed to each other. We're shy to each other when we first met for a dance activity that Sir Sumbe gave, we barely talked and just sit on the corner. After a few days of practicing together, we talked a lot, we laughed, we shared some of our stories. Until now, we laughed every time we met.

I found another happiness here in SMCBI. I love when we talked together, gossips together, listening to each others funny stories, laughing to a funny moments, etc. Even if we had some conflict sometimes, it can't break the relationship we created.

I always pray to God (Legit ni, Promise) that you're still one of my happiness until our last day here in SMCBI. I will always treasure our memories. I love Syensyas <3

A Rollercoaster Journey by Joie C. Besinan

As a person who's not afraid to try something new and unfold something different, I chose to start my journey in SMCBI by leaving the things that completes and starting from scratch. I already considered this institution as my home because this is where I can freely express myself and this is the place that brought significant changes in my life that fueled my character and personality. Hence, my home enabled me to experience remarkable journey and from this rollercoaster ride, I was able to withdraw so much emotions and learn a lot of things.

I will admit that in my first week of riding in this rollercoaster journey, I felt nauseous, I got tired, and there are pieces regrets in my heart. The change in the environment made me feel that I am not home. I am tiredbly missing my friends from my old school that I once considered as my family. The worse feeling that I've ever felt is when I experienced being bullied. People are calling me names that made me feel bad about myself. I tried to understand them but it made me feel worst. Surprisingly, from sailing from my own thoughts, I drowned, and it brought remarkable change on my thinking. I was able to connect with my classmates and I was able to be friends with them. It is unexpected to consider them as my family, because of the things that happened form the past. Hence, as time goes by, I was able witness their brilliance that reflects the radiance in my heart. I am thankful that I chose this ride because the nauseous it gets the bigger it contributes to how I perceive life. That's why I aimed to continue my journey in this home, because I want to experience more and learn more as an Ignacian Marian student.

To be honest, I don't want to end this rollercoaster journey. Leaving this home will take a lot tears and will enable me to withdraw so much emotions. Hence, I'm thankful for this institution, my second home, for giving me the chance to develop myself as better Christian, a friend, and a son.

What a journey it has been in my second year in college. I have a lot experiences in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Incorporated, that, it gave me good memories. These memories I gained are the ones I cherished, because of the persons I met. These persons were all so kind to me, and gives me happiness despite of all those adversities we've met, especially in academics.

I am Vic Lloyd M. Suarez, a student in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Incorporated. When I was in my first day at school in 2nd year college, I felt nervous for the new environment I am with, that, I have my new classmates and instructors, but, as time goes by I am able to adapt to the new environment. There are activities that helped me know my classmates, like Intramurals, PE activities, and other tasks that our instructors gave us. The persons I've met became my new family, we have bonds, as well as the laughter we've made. We always makes fun, and it leads to the disappointment of our instructors. We are so noisy. We even have difficulties in our studies, as we're spoonfed by our instructors even though it is our duty to educate ourselves. Laziness and fun was mostly in our mind. However, I saw that we still strive to learn what we lacked in academics. But, despite of all those things we failed and succeed, we still tried to stand on our feet. We are proud of who we are because that makes us true to ourselves, we didn't even wanted one of our classmates to stop on studying, but hindrances will always be there. One of the main problem is the lack of finance, because the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) was held.

The experiences I've got were all precious including the trials we've got, because it is also one of the recipes to strengthen ourselves. We are still raw as a teacher, we still have years and trials to walk through. To sum up everything, I am so proud of what, and where I am right now for I am comfortable of my environment. I am Marian and this is my journey in college.

My experienced, when I was in first year, in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc. was difficult because it was a blended learning. I can't listen well to the teacher discussing to a certain topic during that time because of the internet connection and the distraction in our house. But then, I was able to adjust as time goes by.

Let me introduce my self first, My name is Arnel Matos you can call me nel. I live in Balutakay the most elevated area that part in Bansalan, the place where you can experience a great sunset every morning.
I taking my degree here in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc. I often late every first period in morning class, I traveled almost an hour to reach the school with more than half of the accelerator of my motorcycle. The little circle of friends I have at first grows bigger as I met my classmates. As time goes by our bonds became stronger, we stand together for joy and challenges. We have fun even in crucial moments in our life. We encountered different difficulties that felt like we are not doing good enough but the cheers and jokes of everyone lifted our hearts and will to continue this journey. Sometimes we have misunderstanding towards each other and not long enough we cleared that misunderstanding because in our hearts we are all friends and family in here.

The bond that was within us connects us to each other. It was like a seed that as time goes by it grows bigger and stronger. And also it was like an iron chain that was almost unbreakable for those who tried to separate us. I know that even we became separated we will not forget each other since this bond will remain forever.

It was a mixed emotions when the class started, a first time seeing each other face to face and it was a school orientation that time. At first, I have a hard time of socialising with my classmates but as time goes by we have created a strong bond unexpectedly. Thou it is a blended learning in that time, but it did not hinder to build friendship between them.

During the practices of our PE PT, that was the time when we actually bond together, shared our common interest, attitudes, how bbies and goals in life, that's what make us unite it is because of our commons. We always seek for someone's presence whenever they are not around. It seems a day wasn't complete without them.

As we continue our second year journey, the bond is just getting strong. They are just not a friend nor a companion I can call them a family a second home.

In the year of 2021 in the month of July, my aunt decided to let me enter college during those time I felt so much pressured since all of my cousins are already done schooling. I am pressured because other people degraded my family since my parents are elementary graduate. During my summer stayed in Hagonoy and I was planning going back to my aunt to enroll in college, so I decided to enroll in DSSC and the only requirements that I need to submit is only my grades. As I enter my aunt house my cousins tells me that "Te" you are now enrolled in St. Mary College of Bansalan so as I heard that I was shocked without my permission so un the end I have to follow my aunt since they're the one paid my tuitions. I don't have any choice so I must go with the flow since my parents can't afford my tuitions.

The moment I entered St. Mary College of Bansalan I was nervous since I dont have any friends here most of them in DSSC, so first day of school was sad since I am a type of girl that I will talk when someone asked me. I am an introvert and I am still adopting to the new environment but as time goes by I met my new circle of friends especially Joie and Frank and the rest of my classmates. They helped me during my ups and downs, I am really grateful to have such friends like them. In this school, I did not just met friends but established family and beyond that.

We experienced beyond our expectations that we will never forget and forever be remembered. Through this journey of mine, I've learned a lot from my teachers and friends.

Hurricane

My devious story in St. Mary college of bansalan is really interesting and roller coasters experience. As a freshmen to my new school and now a second year college student is really quite struggle yet I’m determine and focus to conquer my goals that need to fulfill in the future. Hurricane is define of my college life, To be a hurricane it needed to be composed of thunderstorms to make an impact in the surface and that damage is my experience to raised above to my ashes behind all those darkness.

A person who struggle to communicate with others with a strong aura and personalities that reflect to his action that lead to misunderstandings with other fellow pears and that person is me. Its really depressing and make me go to a therapist but then I communicate my own self to try and fix what damage that I’ve done to everyone especially to my closest friends. I know that people change and I want to proved that I’ve change. People make mistake and I’ve learned to that mistake I’m a person who invalidate everyone’s feelings because I admitted to my self that I’m a kind of person that superior of someone actions that that’s make my college life red flag. Hurricane is real life experience of mine that proved that those storms in the sees and strong winds are capable of making damage of life and structures in the surface and me as a person in my college life experience I am that hurricane that hurts someone’s confidence and ruined their trust. It is not the end of building back the broken pieces that I’ve caused to everyone like a hurricane, after the big impact there is a sunshine right after the rain that’s reflect me as a person behind those deprived things that done in the past it doesn’t mean there is no sunshine of mine to fix the problem and pain.

It is not too late to make a new beginnings to cherish every single time that accompany with my pears because I know behind those meanest words and grudges that in the past is not a barrier to be a good person and to have progress entire in this college journey.

Unexpected Friendship

When I first stepped my feet here in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc. I felt very nervous because I'm not sure if I can find new circle of friends that will help me, guide me, teach me, and accept me for who I am. But I was wrong because here in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc I found my happiness and I found the right circle of friends. We've created a strong and unexpected bond even though we experienced blended learning.

During our practices in our PE subject, it was my first time to hangout and eat with them and I can remember that our favorite place to eat is in the "Crispihan" and we have a special name for it and we called it "The Jollibee Lite". At that time our bond becomes more stronger and I think of them as my biological brothers and sisters and not just friends nor classmates. We started looking at everybody's back and support each other.

And now as we continue our journey here in St. Mary's College of Bansalan Inc., we will cary the friendship that was formed unexpectedly will live and grow in the hearts of everybody.

September 26 2022, is the most saddest thing I've been experience in my whole life. In this day, my grandmother will passed away, around 11 o'clock in the evening. I feel so sad because since I'm young my grandmother will taking care of me. Because my mother will studying.

May 2022, my grandmother will admitted at MABAMA DOCTOR 'S HOSPITAL. She diagnosis of having Urinary Track Infection. Days passed my grandmother will discharge and going home. But the pain she feel couldn't stop. So my parents decided to admit her at Viacrusis Bansalan. In this time, we know that the pain she felt is not ordinary. And doctor said' she need to undergo an operation. Because of the poverty we are not able to follow the advice of the doctor. And we take my grandmother at home.

Many days passed my grandmother will suffering of the pain. Again, my parents decided to bring or admitted her at provincial hospital at digos city. This time we know what the real diagnosis of my grandmother. She have a stage four colon cancer. It was hurt to know it.

As I continue my voyage in St. Marys College of Bansalan Inc. , I've experienced many memories that are equal having a blended adventure and pleasant events held in the school premises, the best thing that I choose to be a student in this institution is the opportunity of the program TES that makes a big help to pursue my studies but, sadly speaking the Program has been stop, when I heard about it I feel like i've been crash by heaven and earth my world crumble and the ashes of despair rush into my mind, like a leaf that drifted in the amazon river but I should never stop learning because life does not stop teaching

The first day I was a marian student. I'm very anxious because I don't know any pals and don't feel at ease with my peers.

But as the years go by, all I can say is that I feel at ease with them right now; I can ask them anything and chat to them without being hesitant.

But my best experience here in St. Mary's college of Bansalan Inc. when we perform a hip-hop dance in physical education. We didn't expect that we could be included in the top because there are many beautiful dances, and in our group we just dance to have fun and to enjoy our performance.

Also, I am very grateful to be a student at this institution because I have learnt a lot that I will utilize throughout my entire life.
