      <description>American best selling author of fiction, Celeste Ng is known for writing about broken family dynamics and race in America. Her parents inspired her to write by being immigrants from Hong Kong coming to graduate at a better school.The neighborhood she lived in also inspired her “Shaker Heights”. Ngś interest of writing began when she was about to go into highschool. She started practicing creative writing so when she got into highschool she took creative and playwriting courses. Also, she co-edited her schools magazine. She has been called an inspiration to asian- american writers. But she doesn&#39;t want to be an inspiration instead she wants to open new chairs for new people coming into writing.</description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Celeste Ng’s neighborhood influenced her writing a lot. When she was ten years old she moved to Ohio in a neighborhood called Shaker Heights. Her parents chose Shaker Heights because it was a racially integrated, progressive, and had an excellent public school system. She lived in Shaker Heights from 1990 until she graduated from Shaker heights High School in 1998 (Bolam 2-4).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Celeste Ng’s parents moved a lot. They were immigrants from Hong Kong. Her parents were both scientist.When her dad got offered a job at NASA they moved to Ohio. With both of her parents being scientists Celeste was always curious and asked a lot of questions. They helped her in many ways so she would have a better life than them (Bolam 1).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>During covid nineteen there was a lot of poverty problems. In 2019 covid left more than 43.8 million people in poverty.&nbsp; During covid there was a lot of reports of discrimination towards asians. There was a lot of reports by asians afraid they were going to be threatened or physically attacked. They changed there daily routines due the the crisis(department of health 35-37).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When Ng was teen she would write about race and discrimination. Her work usually is about racial identity and immigrants experience. At school, she participated in the organization of the Student Group on Race Relations. In that organization they participated by going to&nbsp; different elementary school to talk about discrimination and stereotype. In example of this <em>Little Fires Everywhere </em>her main characters are minorities struggling to live in a racially segregated neighborhood (Bolam 5).</p>]]></description>
