These are some of the best views in Portugal, but there's still more!
Portugal is home to many species: olives, from which olive oil is made; oregano, used to enhance the flavor of food; and many other things, including animals and plants.
And there's also an incredible variety of walls, houses, and churches, all covered in tiles.
The "Calçada Portuguesa" (Portuguese paving) is also very typical of this area! Especially the north! It's made of a small parallelepiped of limestone and basalt (but the basalt is only used for the small patterns in the paving). The Sobreiro tree is also native to Portugal, but more so to the south, and it's used to make wine corks. Also in the south, there are hectares upon hectares of vineyards where wine is made!

Com o final do ano letivo, despedimo-nos também das atividades do Clube de Cinema Afonsino e do nosso fantástico projeto eTwinning "Lights, Camera, Stop Motion!".

Foi um ano repleto de criatividade, desafios e muita aprendizagem! 🎥🎞️

Para os nossos alunos, este projeto foi uma oportunidade para dar asas à imaginação, criar filmes em stop motion, colaborar com colegas de outros países e colocar a língua inglesa em prática em contextos reais de comunicação.

Para as professoras Eugénia Almeida e Marianna Vavrova , foi um enorme privilégio acompanhar um grupo de alunos que surpreendeu pela criatividade, entusiasmo e pelas diferentes perspetivas que trouxe a cada desafio.

Terminamos este projeto com um balanço muito positivo, levando connosco novas aprendizagens, boas memórias, amizades e a certeza de que a colaboração e a criatividade tornam a escola um lugar ainda mais inspirador.
