FIRST start by choosing a subject you feel passionate about and can form an opinion on.

These are some examples:
- Becoming a vegetarian
- Reduce plastic in the world
- Reduce CO2 level
- Wearing masks
- Corona related quarantine
- Social media addiction
- Death penalty
- Environmental issues
- Refugees / Asylum seekers
- etc.

SECOND:
Write a simple 'essay' of at least 150/200 words about your chosen topic wherein you:

1. Write what your chosen topic is (intro).

2. Write what the problem is (body).

3. Write what your opinion is about it and include your arguments (conclusion).

THIRD: think of enough arguments to defend your perspective.

Example: 'I believe that we have to wear masks to protect other people from getting infected with the virus'.

Presentation:
You are going to read your essay during the presentation and defend your opinion.

You have to be able to:
1. Say your opinion in multiple ways (not only I think that .. denk aan de vorige trede met de schoolvakken.. )
2. Listen to the other person's opinion and include that in your answer
3. Use conjuntions such as: because, but, also, yet, for, since etc. practice link

Make a poll about any current news/event/situation/occurence.
Run your choice by me for a GO or NO GO.

You want to know what people will choose in a certain situation.

You have to make 10 sentences in which you clearly show that you know in what kind of sentence you use some, and in what kind of sentence you use any.

* When the poem is finished, you have to write down the meaning of the poem. Each line should be explained.
