Dutch women's contribution to GDP is very low because they work few hours. In the Netherlands there is a big gap between men and women's monthly income and pension entitlements.  Working part time can worsen gender inequality as it is sending them into jobs with bad pay.This article ties in with the topic of GDP.  One of the readings we did called GDP women talks about how the GDP underreports work by women. This article ties in with the world system. The world system makes it hard for the poor nations to be able to develop and helps the rich nations to be the beneficiaries. In this article it shows how china is basically the only one benefiting from the loans they give.
