We are still at risk as we aren't sure that we won't be able to be in contact with the virus anymore. I think that they could modify the school's previous structure to better suit the new normal.

Now that there is still a lingering fear of possible new strains and other health risks in going to school, I believe that schools won’t completely or exactly replicate its past set-ups and policies even if the pandemic is controlled. We should know, more than ever, that unexpected events may occur and we should be safe than sorry. As seen in the picture presented earlier in our learning period, proper social distancing should be integrated in our school set-up, and it's possible as well that blended learning (both online and face to face) will be implemented until we are really sure that everything is safe. Since classrooms would also have limited capacities, there will be a change in the allocation of students in classrooms as well as their schedules. Other than this, school events such as Intramurals, immersions, and the fair might have to be modified or regulated since there is a lot of physical contact in these events. School rules might also have to be altered or tweaked a little bit to integrate health protocols and mandates (e.g. masks) that will be implemented within the school premises. Overall, schools cannot really adapt their previous set-ups because times are changing. This may have a negative connotation but if we look at it as an opportunity to better our school system and find new ways to learn, then we are able to seize these moments and use them to improve and grow.

2. In terms of suggestions, I believe that ventilation in these classrooms should be improved for better airflow. Our school is really blessed to have a lot of greenery and fresh air so we have to take advantage of that to decrease the risk of people getting sick. I'm not sure as well if other schools already implemented this but I think it's safer for schools to really promote vaccination within their community (like no vaccination, no entry), unless a person cannot be vaccinated because of health conditions. Other than this, I think we could develop and adapt our initial skills in regards to technology so that we won't totally abandon whatever we learned in online class.

But if we are given the same set up as before, I don't think everyone is ready to transition from the online environment to physical conditions as we have already adapted the situation and going back from one to another is not easy for people. Suggestions on this is encouraging those who can to be vaccinated, making masks mandatory, maintaining distance where possible, and combining elements from both the face-to-face set up and online set up.
