If you ever tried to stalk me and went to my Facebook page, you notice that you see nothing. In part, because I made my page private, but even if you did see my page, there is absolutely nothing there that shows my face, I do not even have a picture of myself in my own gallery!

If you ask me to take a selfie, i'd run away like a cat being splashed by water. That is my #1 weakness, don't exploit it!

I do not frequent social media at all! I firmly believe that if I use social media too much, I will earn an unhealthy perspective of myself, the people around me, and the world.

Furthermore, I believe that social media impedes us from reaching our authentic selves. Thus, I refrain from using social media.

Politics is a messy conglomeration of corruption, power, and propaganda, and frankly, I am all for that. While History is basically politics of the past. Politics and History is like a movie for me, it has conflicts, plots and characters, it's like breaking bad but in real life. Also being aware of the political landscape makes me more aware of the world.

Needless to say, I truly am not comfortable with presenting myself. You had no idea how depressed I was when I was FORCED to participate in a pageant. I did my best to try to convince them that I was not worthy. Somehow, I won the pageant at a provincial level. I don't know what happened, its all Greek to me now.

MY LOVE FOR DOGS

Oh. my. goodness. You have no idea how much I love dogs. They are just the cutest, kindest, smartest, fun, interesting, amazing, most immaculate animals to ever roam the planet Earth. Hurt a dog, and you hurt me!!. Despite my love for dogs, my family and I never had an indoor dog. Well, because they claim that they are too messy. That doesn't stop my love for these furry (sometimes hairless) creatures, though! I'd do almost anything for a dog, clean their poop, take them to a walk, and even massage them! They simply deserve it!

I want to be a surgeon!

Seems unnatural, but I want to be a surgeon or any kind of doctor! My drive to help people, as well as my interest in the sciences seem to merge with the medical profession, so its a no-brainer for me to choose this field. Funny enough, my parents doesn't seem to be on board with my dream, opting me to be an engineer instead. If you never hear that from an Asian parent, well, here you go.

I entered this school during the pandemic. It might not be the best for others, but it is for me. This school raised me up from the crypt that formed by the pandemic. This was my escape from the horrors of home, this was my sanctuary. I am truly grateful for this school and all that it did for me.

Fun fact! I was borne 2 weeks premature, so I had to stay in an incubator. I also had pneumonia growing up as a child... well, thank god I'm still here! (PS: I was conceived in Davao Doctor's Hospital)

My New Life in Ateneo

As someone who is originally not from Davao, I had to be in a nearby dormitory. But the thing is, this was my first time ever in a dormitory, living alone. Nevertheless, I had to grow up either way!

My new life in AdDU SHS truly is a wonderful experience! New people, new exposures, and a profound sense of belonging, thank you Ateneo!

Why do I like these media?

These media has proven to be a way for me to communicate with the world. that is why I like it. Furthermore, these media has been an integral part of my correspondence with others.

Furthermore, these media has also been giving me entertainment and happiness. In addition, these media can also serve as a vital source of information, which can allow me to learn more about events, concepts, or people in general

How are these media influencing or affecting me? (my lifestyle, aspirations, attitudes, behavior). Is this healthy? If yes, how come? If not, what steps should you take to change it?

Media influences me through many ways. First and foremost, media informs me. From world events, to local news, they notify me of the things that happen around me. Basically, I consume these media to inform myself about the world. Without these media, I am ignorant and akin to that of a sheep.

In addition, Media can change my mood. Once media has shown me a negative news, or a saddening event, in part, it will also make me sad. If media presents me with Dog videos, wholesome videos or happy videos, then I will also be happy. Media has the power to change my emotions and behavior.

Lastly. through media, it makes me realize that there are things I want to achieve. Actually, it was media that introduced me to the concept of being a doctor, it was media that showed me medical dramas llke the Good Doctor and Grey's Anatomy. It is what inspired me to aspire for my current dreams
