We need to get past our egos and do what is best for the students. We should all be teaching to optimize their understanding of a concept. Our job is to know why they didn't achieve the goal and help them reach it the best way or manner possible. It may be something WE missed, or it may be filling gaps they have had for years.

"If I'm honest, I store a lot of self-esteem in how I teach and how my students are doing...." , this is so true for me! I really want to move past having this attitude and lean more on my team as resources and communicate with my colleagues for help, ideas, and resources.

I am happy to report that this writer gets me! I HATE sharing data because at some point (often) mine will not be as good as others and that makes me feel sick. I like that the author points out that it will get easier as TRUST builds...this is something I think is often lacking due to the fluidity of teams. I look forward to working on this. :)
