But I still find it unfair that the gender pay gap is so high, as woman who get qualified for police are strong enough too and work as hard as the men.

I do think, that we live in a society, where the passion about fulfilling dream jobs is bigger than on how we’re seen in our society.

30% of all IT specialist in Germany are women.

At this point most of the IT companies advertise the job of an IT specialist more to women, then men. Another thing could be, the fearof the women of working in a so much men based job.

There is no real pay gap, because of the differences in life between men and women. As example when women get pregnant, they then can‘t work fulltime anymore, and after the birth, the most don‘t work for 2 whole years and with a child in life the most of the women can‘t work fulltime anymore and so there is a pay gap, but because of the diferences in working hours.

The job of an IT specialist mostly is based on working overtime and mothers can‘t do that so the men in the company get paid more, with the reason of mor working hours.

c)

In my opinion and with the experience I made, I think it is mostly the fear of women working in this job, yes 30% isn‘t quite a small amount, but still just one third of the complete people who work in this job.

Gender Pay Gap:
In 2023, male lawyers in Germany earned about 18% more than female lawyers. If you consider factors like the type of job, leadership positions, and work hours, the difference goes down to 6%. However, in the legal field specifically, the gap is bigger. Men working as full-time lawyers made about 23.3% more than women. This means that female lawyers, in a way, work around 85 days a year without getting paid compared to their male colleagues.

Representation of Women:
More women are becoming lawyers in Germany. In 2024, women made up 37.09% of all lawyers, which is slightly more than the 36.67% in 2023.
