Answer:
1.A constellation is an area on the celestial sphere in which a group of visible stars forms a perceived outline or pattern, typically representing an animal, mythological person or creature, or an inanimate object. 
2.Constellations are used to map out the night sky and to recognise specific stars in the sky.
3.There are 13 astronomical zodiac constellations: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Ophiuchus.
4.The constellations, as described in Greek mythology, were mostly god-favoured heroes and beasts who received a place amongst the stars as a memorial of their deeds. 
5.Crius or Krios was the god of heavenly constellations. He was the son of Ouranós and Gaia. His children were Perses, god of destruction, husband of Asteria and father of Hekate, Astraeus, husband of Eos and father of the Winds and the Planets, and Pallas, husband of Styx and father of Nike, Bia, Zelos and Cratus.

Not all constellations are visible from all locations on the Earth. Some of the constellations are visible in the northern hemisphere, while some are visible in the southern hemisphere. There are also some constellations visible between the northern and southern hemispheres. 

2) The 7 major constellations : 
The largest constellations in the sky are Hydra, Virgo, Ursa Major, Cetus and Hercules. The largest northern constellation are Ursa Major, Herculean, Pegasus, Draco and Leo. While the largest southern constellation are Hydra, Virgo, Venus, Eridanus and Centaurus.

3) The zodiac signs : 
There are 12 most common constellation which is : 
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn,  Aquarius and Pisces.

4) The three largest are gracing the evening skies. Hydra, the sea serpent, Virgo, the maiden and Ursa Major, the big bear are visible in the night sky.
