As you see he was South Africa's leading anti-apartheid-activist. 
He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. 
Mandela was born 18th July, 1918, in the tiny village of Mvezo, on the banks of the Mbashe River in Transkei, South Africa. 
He had been married three times and had six children at all.
He was educated a lawyer and he soon became actively involved in the anti-apartheid movement, joining the African National Congress in 1942. ANC was a small group of young Africans banded together, calling themselves the African National Congress Youth League.

The Executive is responsible for ruling the country through different departments or ministries. Each department is responsible for a different issue  for example there is one for health matters one for education, and one for sport. all these departments has chosen one to be the Executive. This is called the Cabinet. 

Legislature
The Legislature or parliament is those who make laws for the country.

Judiciary
Judiciary is the part of government that has to make sure that those who do not keep the law is going to be punished. It is the court.
