         <description><![CDATA[<div>by Georgen Strintzos<br><br>The Pinnacles are limestone formations in the Nambung National Park, which is 250kms north of Perth.  Another name for The Pinnacles is 'Rock Stars in the Outback.'<br>They were formed 25,000 - 30,000 years ago after the Indian Ocean's seashells were crushed into powder form by the ocean and waves.  Strong winds swept the powdered seashells inland and eventually formed the pinnacles.  They range from cm - 5metres high.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>By Tom Jorgensen<br><br>The Blue Lake is a large monomictic (do not freeze over Winter and turnover once during the year) crater lake associated with the Mount Gambier&nbsp; complex. The lake is situated near Mount Gambier in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia and is one of four crater lakes on Mount Gambier. Of the four lakes, only two remain, as the other two have dried up over the past 30 to 40 years as the water table has dropped.<br><br></div>]]></description>
