I am a born and raised Texan. I am a product of GCISD schools just down the road, but grew up in Euless. I attended TCU and I loved every minute of being a horned frog! This is my 6th year at Wilshire Elementary and I hope for many more. In my spare time you will find me with my two dogs, Niblet and Cooper, either at the dog park or taking a road trip to Austin to visit my sister and 13 year old niece. I love spicy food and any kind of tea (hot or iced!) I like to unwind with yoga, some Disney Plus or a good book!

Compensatory services were offered for students who qualified. If you didn't receive a letter from me, you have nothing to worry about.

I know how confusing this can be. If you've had meetings with me, your child has an IEP. If you've had meetings with our counselor, Mrs. Gauntt, your child has a 504 plan. I would be happy to explain the difference if you contact me.

>> Can Ms. LaChance change something in my child's IEP?
Yes I can. Call or email me first, and we'll talk about what we need to do to make changes! It's on a case-by-case basis.

>> I'm moving to another school, but I want my child's services to continue when I move.
As long as you're moving within the United States, we can make that happen. Provide me with the details of the move and I would be happy to make sure the receiving case manager has everything they need to provide the supplementary aids and services in the IEP at their new school.
