A CC in my story is when Coach O'Brien just gets straight to the point and tells Ben "Shawn is a better QB." Instead of doing it all smooth and nice, he flat out just said it. He is doing this because he wants to get the situation over with and get it out of the way. He is also doing this because he wants to tell Ben that he is doing this not because Ben isn't built like a QB or that he is the coaches son.

Something that I predict in my story is that Shawn will get injuried or just not be having a good game which would make Coach O'Brien put in Ben at QB which would be able for Ben to show off his QB skills to all the coaches. I predict this because Ben would still be working on his QB skills and still be working towards that starting spot. Also, in books like these there are usually "Cinderlla" stories/moments.

Something that I predict in my story is that Coach O'Brien would start Ben over Shawn based on there performances at practice. As of now, Shawn hasn't been living up to his QB positon as Ben was during the tryouts and the practices. Plus, the playoffs are coming up so needing a strong leader like Ben at QB would be helpful to the team.

This is happening again and again because the author, Mike Lupica wants to show how Lily affects Ben and the way Ben plays. Maybe there could be a certain time later in the story when Ben remembers Lily's advice that will impact his play great-fully.

Ben has been a little rusty at QB as this season he has been play g positions such as RB. With the practice, Ben will be able to bounce back into his QB self.

Something that confuses me in my story is why Shawn isn't saying sorry to Ben because of the dropped pass. The two have been friends for a while now and just because Shawn dropped 1 pass during the game, the two aren't speaking to each other. This could also be considered a Contrast and Contradiction because this is unusual for these characters.

Ben never stopped working towards becoming the QB even when Shawn was but since Shawn is injured, he was able to become QB.

A life lesson I learned from reading Game Changers was to never give up when things don't go your way. In the begging, Ben wasn't able to get the starting QB position but Ben never gave up and eventually was able to get the spot. This could help me because as a baseball player, things may not go your way but you always have to work hard and someday it will pay off.

Something the author did good in this book was the use of similes and comparing things in the story to other things. Mike Lupica has experniced a lot of things like this book has so he is able to compare the things to other things in the world. It also helped me understand what is going on in the book and helps make create a clear vision in my head.

The job at the tryouts is to watch the players and to evaluate them which is what the coach isn't doing. This caused the coach to miss Ben at his good position.
