They get info in an active manner, a la clicking on a "link". They don't typically engage info that is in a passive manner, a la CBS Nightly News.
They listen to what I say when they ask me a question. Some students need help with motivation and get distracted with the added freedom that comes with a PL environment. The fresh. in Study Skills had a great discussion around PL today where they all agreed that they did not want to be in a school that was like a "fast food restaurant."
