In 1620, a group of people decided to leave England.These people were called pilgrins.They decided to make a long journey in a ship called the Mayflower.About half of the pilgrims died during the first year,but with the help of Native Americans taught the colonists how to grow corn and other vegetables. They dicided to give thanks during three day for their harvest.

It is a tradition that takes place because there is a story behind. In 1620 a group of pilgrims decided to travel to England. Many died during the winter, but come spring they survived by the help of Native Americans. Since then, this holiday is celebrated in the United States and Canada. I think that in our country this holiday isn´t celebrated, or at least, it isn´t the most common. Personally, I´m thankful for having my family. I share with you this video because, in education, is a creative and fun method of learning to work with young children.

Hi guys, I have been looking for some videos about thanksgiving day, I have found a lot of them, and of all that I have seen, this video that I am going to share is the best for me, because in this video explains since 1960 (date when thanksgiving day began), until our time, and other good thing is that it has subtitles and I think that it is better for us because we will understand it much better.
