For example, since I don't have to be at school anymore I am able to help out my parents around the house lot more than if I were to be at school. I am able to clean the house a lot more and I have been able to do a ton more chores than normally.  Being at home in quarantine while having online school work was hard at the beginning because I didn't have the best time management skills especially when it came to school work. Being in quarantine while having online school has taught me how to manage my time with school work and swim. Today I attended a paddle out for George Floyd. Basically we paddled out to the end of Newport pier and listened to some speeches about racism and BLM. Then we took the flowers we handed out and threw them into a the circle we made with our boards. After that we sat there with our fists up in silence and we sat for the same amount of time it took for the cop to kill George.  It was something I will never forget because of how powerful the young lady's message was about our community and the world. I started body-boarding at the end of last summer but now I started going a lot more consistently and I have seen myself improve everyday. I've been going two to three times a week almost every week since we have not been in school. I wake up at around 6:30 and then leave the house at 7:00. Not only is it a good workout since I don't have practices, but it is also a lot of fun and sometimes really painful. The background and most of my pictures are from the wedge in Newport, which is one of the most dangerous but also one of the most exciting and fun waves in California.
