Currently, the Laksa Festival, the Darwin Festival, and various barramundi-based fishing competitions are popular events that run annually in the NT. However, there is nothing in relations to eating the fish. I will approach the Department of Resources and Industries (Fisheries), the Humpty Doo Barramundi Farm and Tourism NT for event Sponsorship. Store holders will have to purchase a stand for the event, and consumers will be able to purchase tickets. A competition will also run which will be based on what restaurants serves the best Barra meal, and the sponsors will donate a grand prize. I also want to look into getting a liquor license for the event, allowing a bar to run.
