1. Mentor-mentee pairing where another student/a teacher with confidence helps these students to build confidence 
2. Split these students into groups when doing presentations and they can take on the role of group leaders. Other group members can support them 

Possible programmes: 
1. Strengths finder workshop where students get to learn and find out more about their strengths --> learning that they have strengths helps them to become more confident 
2. Give students with low self esteem an opportunity to step up in everyday school life. (presentation idea above)
