I was initially going to do the ages of them, but instead chose to look at the amount of years that they have spent as the Senator of their state. I was surprised to note that the lowest amount of time spent was under a year and the longest amount of time spent was 40 years. 
I was really surprised to see a downward trend when it came to the overall frequency of amount of time spent in office.  I expected that the lower amount of years and higher amount of years would have lower frequencies and the middle amount (18-27 years) would be where the data would peak. However, based on looking at both the histogram and the line graph, you notice that there are actually more Senators that have spent less time in the office (0-9 years) than any other group of time. 
I think to show a better fluctuation of data, I could have broken down the groups of years into maybe 3-5 year groups so that it would separate the frequencies a little more and show a more accurate depiction of the years spent as a Senator. I was unable to figure out a way to separate them by actual years (ex.1981, 1999, etc) and I think if there was a way to do so, you would see a bit more from the data presented. However, the graphs all highlight the information provided from excel which was the mean, median, and mode, range, and standard deviation. Being as though many Senators have not been in office very long, it is understandable why the mean, median, and mode were all numbers below 10 because most Senators have not spent more than 10 years in office. ]]> 2020-11-03 01:03:57 UTC https://padlet.com/ayalajasmine15/aej5coeg0r4rvhk6/wish/884568166
