KIC objective 1: strengthen the capacity of school leaders and teachers through a blended approach to address climate change in the curriculum.

1. Enhancing the skills and knowledge of educators to integrate climate change into their teaching.

2. A blended approach allows flexible and accessibility for professional teacher development ensuring that educators are well equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills in climate change issues.

3. School leaders and district officials are trained to support climate change policies and promote integration within school environment and the broader community.

4. There will be a long term sustainability ensuring that climate change education continues beyond the project initial phase.

NB: The course is not bringing anything new in the form of knowledge or content and subsequently it should not be viewed as an additional job rather it is meant to emphasise on the application side of things.
