         <description><![CDATA[<p>Unsanitary living conditions may exist if the house inside puts a risk to the other people in there. If odors come from the house, they can be detected in the neighborhood. If there is excessive dirt or filth in the home it can be harmful to the people living inside. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>on page  152, Jeannette describes the house in welch "We didn't have indoor plumbing. The toilet was a yellow bucket that we had to empty every day". </p></li><li><p>On page 173 Jeannette talks about how they had to find food "I was hungry, I was always hungry, I scrounged for food and even dug through the trash."</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>How was Jeannette impacted by this social topic during this part of the memoir?  Jeannette was impacted by how she thought it was normal how she was living. that she knew growing up that if they just got a job or did something they would be financially fine and have money.  </p><p><br/></p></li></ol>]]></description>
