         <description><![CDATA[<div>C's-<br><strong>Communication</strong>-students have to communicate with their groups on what supplies they are using, and how those supplies will be used. They have to discuss who is responsible for what parts of the project.<br><strong>Collaboration</strong>-Students are working together to create a successful irrigation system to move water from point A to point B.<br><strong>Creativity</strong>-Although students are given the materials to use, it is their responsibility to come up with something original that works.<br><strong>Critical Thinking</strong>-students will quickly learn that their first plan doesn't always work. They will have to come up with a back up idea if their original design doesn't meet the requirements.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Communication and Collaboration<br><br><strong>Egypt Review Lock Box Challenge</strong></div><div> </div><div><strong>Challenge: Figure out the clues to obtain the combinations to the lock and open the lock box before the time runs out! If you accomplish your mission, there will be a reward to enjoy!</strong></div><div> </div><div><strong><em>Rules: You may go in any order you wish, but only one lock may be worked on at a time by your group</em></strong><strong>.</strong></div><div> </div><div> </div><div><strong>Lock One: Mummification Process</strong></div><div>You will need to put the strips of paper in order to show the mummification process. Once you think your group has the correct order, raise your hand to have the teacher check. If correct, you will get a combination!</div><div> </div><div><strong>Lock Two: Pharaohs/Pyramids </strong></div><div>In the envelope you will find questions. Place the questions in order on your desk. Once the clues are in order, use the expo markers to write down the correct answer on your desk/table. If correct, you will get a combination!</div><div> </div><div><strong>Lock Three: Map It</strong></div><div>You and your group will need to correctly label the map of ancient Egypt. When you think you have the map labeled correctly, raise your hand to have the teacher check. If correct, you will get a combination!</div><div> </div><div><strong>Lock 4: Mix Up Puzzle</strong></div><div>You and your team will work together to unscramble letters of words from our Egypt unit. Use the unscrambled words to figure out the secret message at the bottom of the paper. When you think you have the phrase answered correctly, raise your hand to have the teacher check.
