In particular, they lift up cohorts as organizing vehicle and network, the approach and content of learning cohorts, the importance of relationships forged in cohort, the stance of long-term accompaniment, and how cohorts were a closely connected support network for cohort members. The learning and relationships embedded in cohorts translate into shifts in individual and institutional practices.

BB Crew coming together regularly to address base building collectively, and all of the various parts of JF that contribute to this work. Being able to jointly consider and implement both continuing bodies of work (membership), reconfigure how they had been offered in the past (quarterly member networking spaces and orientations), and produce new offerings (liberatory governance, fundamentals trainings) has been inspiring and fulfilling to participate in, and helps us continually refine what it means for JF to be a political home for everyone in our network.

The creation and stewardship of the JTIC Fund operationalizes the JTI Framework and gives funders a very real and concrete way to begin experimenting, practicing and implementing a Just Transition framework into their foundation endowments beyond grantmaking strategies. Building infrastructure of the tool and a future Resource Library of all of our open source materials including our IPS, Term Sheets, Non-Extractive Loan Documents, COI and conflict resolution policies, etc will further provide concrete tools and ways forward for foundations and movement partners.
