      <description>Guided inquiry is the main approach to learning and teaching language in the PYP. This approach to teaching is broad and inclusive in that it provides a context within which a wide variety of teaching strategies and styles can be accommodated, provided that they are driven by a spirit of inquiry and a clear sense of purpose. With your partner please review how language practices are changing found on pages 3-4 of the Language Scope and Sequence document. Please post a reflection that answers the following questions: 1. Which &quot;increased emphasis&quot; practice is already happening in your classroom? What factor contributed to the implementation of this practice? 2. Which practice is the most challenging to transition from &quot;decreased emphasis of&quot; to &quot;increased emphasis of&quot;? Why? What makes it challenging and what supports would help? 3.
