For Pippa's senior project, she decided to solve an unsolved case that happened in her town 5 years ago. She decided to go to the home of Salil "Sal" Singh. When the door opens, she sees Sal's younger brother, Ravi hiding behind it. Since this was their first interaction, it was awkward for them.

Chapter 11, page 97: Going camping

Pip decided to take a break, and go on a little camping trip with her friends for a birthday getaway. While they were giggling and hanging out, they caught someone watching them and chased after them. When they returned to the tent, Pip found a threatening note in her sleeping bag.

Chapter 24, page 218: Even more lies

Pip and Ravi are leaving the bed-and-breakfast. After they get into the car and piece together information, Pip notices something. Looking out the window, she can see Max standing there yelling at Howie, who he claimed he didn't know and wasn't involved with. This would not be his first time lying to them during this investigation.

Chapter 34, page 293: All destroyed

After Pip gets the text from the killer about the dog, she knows she needs to listen. She follows all of the instructions that the unknown person gives her. She moves 100 paces into the woods and starts to destroy all of the evidence about the Andie Bell case.

Chapter 42, Page 332: Close to the end

After discovering all these pieces of the puzzle, they get the location that may solve this whole mystery. Pip can't wait any longer to confront the person who has caused all of this pain to the families of the children. She ends up going in by herself.

Chapter 48, page 374: Is this the end?

Ravi turns up at the location with all the police running around. Pip can finally tell him the actual story of what happened to his brother. There was something else that didn't sit quite right. Will Pip be able to figure it out this time?
