I want to try to take some of that pressure off myself and do more of what I want then what I think I should do.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Julia- my self care goals align with my values and priorities by making sure i am taking care of myself and in the right headspace in order to accomplish the goals i want. The better i feel the better i do in life in general. a way i can cultivate self compassion when facing hardships or setbacks is to give myself grace and stop beating myself up if things don't go exactly the way i wanted or planned them to. success is not linear, sometimes you need to fail or have some bumps in the road to get to where you need to be and appreciate where you are and where you have come from. some long term self care goals i would like to work towards are eating better, being better to my mind and my body, taking more time to practice self care, and going for at least one walk a day.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Alissa- My self care goals aline with my values and priorities because in order for me to accomplish the goals I have I need to care and appreciate how far i have come and what I have already accomplished. I truly have struggled with this and i feel like taking a second to reflect on all that has happened really humbles me and makes me feel better about not only my current situation but makes me proud. Without doing that I think i wouldn’t be able to be successful and reach the goals I have set. I have come to realize that there are some strategies that work better in more stressful scenarios. I currently am going through a bunch of different situations that have cause me so much stress and one thing I do to keep myself in line is to reflect on everything and lay it all out. Doing this makes me aware of everything involved. I also make myself aware that i can overcome anything i’m facing with that mindset. A long term self care goal I have is to give myself the time in a day multiple times a week to do something I have a passion for that helps me get back on track whether it be read a part of a book, watch my comfort shows, or go out to dinner with friends</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My self care tends to revolve around my priorities. I like to work out and use my stress to my advantage. When I face setbacks I like to be vocal about how I feel and make sure to acknowledge what and how I can get back in line with my priorities. For example I got two tattoos and as much as i would love to go to the gym 24/7 I still need to make sure my tattoos are fully healed before I go all out.  </p><p>In my opinion everyone has different self care strategies when it comes to stress. I like to work out others might like to curl up and read a book. One long term goal is that I’d like to put aside more time for myself. While the gym is nice being alone relaxing is also nice. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>self care is really important to me but i struggle a lot with consistency. although i have routines in place, i need to work more towards committing to them and doing them every day. for example, i have a great skin care routine in place but i do forget to do it every day. one thing i’ve been doing to keep better track of this is adding a habit tracker to my bullet journal, and it has helped me keep myself accountable on not only skincare but showing up for classes and keeping my room neat. one of my long term self care goals is to continue to work on coping skills for my mental health, because i’ve noticed my anxiety has gotten a little out of control and i have been recently diagnosed with ptsd.</p><p>-meredith</p>]]></description>
