We have a painful history, it is the division of Korea into north and south. Until now, a lot of efforts have been enacted from old times, there is no sign of unification of North and South. However, if North and South Korea are unified, what would happen?

First is the economical aspect. South and North Korea's income gap is fifty times.

So if unification of North and South had come true, the economy would have crumbled.

For instance, when East Germany and West Germany were unified, West Germany spent 3,000 trillion but they experienced economic recession for ten years.

Second is the military aspect. South Korea is enforcing a conscription system because South Korea is in a state of truce now. However, if South and North Korea are unified, Unified Korea may institute a volunteer military system. Also, right after unification, as neighboring states like Japan, China, and Russia take precaution Unified Korea’s military power, we should not institute a volunteer military system rashly.

Third is the diplomatic aspect. North Korea slanders South Korea and USA at the same time, it wants to turn the North into a country friendly to the USA. 

As the North’s uppermost ruler Kim Il Sung said, “Don’t believe China.”, after unification, Us armed forces in Korea would have been maintained at a high probability.

In my opinion, to unify South and North, there are so many things and difficulties to do, we would need a lot of preparation.

   Firstly, Seoul became an important city with the growth of the Joseon Dynasty. So Seoul became the capital of the dynasty. I hope that we will become a society in which legislation that pursues justice naturally proceeds just like the Civil Rights Act of the United States, in which the saying 'What the people say is the law' has come true.

나는 세상에 정당한 이유를 가진 차등적인 대우가 존재하는 것은 당연하다고 생각한다. 그러나 한 인격체로서 외적인 특징만으로 정당한 이유 없이 사람을 차별하는 것은 있을 수도, 있어서도 안 된다고 생각한다. 우리 공동체 속에 부당한 차별을 철폐하고 방지하기 위해서는 이에 대한 강제성을 규정해야 한다고 생각한다. 그러려면 입법이 필요하다. '국민의 의사가 곧 법이다'라는 말이 그대로 실현된 미국의 민권법처럼 정의를 좇는 입법이 당연히 진행되는 사회가 되길 바란다.

I have liked children since I was in elementary school. I liked to teach someone, and I liked to make. So my dream was to be an elementary school teacher since I was an elementary school student. However, after coming to high school, I constantly heard that the appointment of teachers was decreasing due to the low birth rate, and after consulting with my parents, I decided to find another career path.

   

My second dream is to become a psychological counselor. This is because the teacher recommended that I would be suitable for me who likes to listen to what others say and is good at giving appropriate reactions. Also, since I have been interested in psychological counseling for a long time, I thought it would be good to become a psychological counselor.

   

My third dream is to become a nurse. After obtaining a nursing certificate, I felt interested in being able to get a job in various fields such as health teachers, nursing professors, and nurses, and dreamed of entering the nursing department. After that, I have been working toward my dream by designing and studying for a career with the goal of entering the nursing department.

   

I hope that after a long effort, I can achieve good results of entering the nursing department.

어렸을 때부터 지금까지 나는 갖고 싶은 직업이 3가지 있었는데, 오늘은 그 3가지 직업에 대해 이야기해보려고 한다.

나는 초등학생때부터 아이들을 좋아했다. 누군가에게 가르침을 주는 것을 좋아했고, 만들기를 하는 것도 좋아했다. 그래서 초등학생 때부터 나의 꿈은 초등학교 선생님이 되는 것이었다. 하지만 고등학교에 올라와서 저출산율에 따른 교사임용이 낮아지고 있다는 소식이 끊임없이 들렸고, 부모님과 상의 끝에 다른 진로를 찾아보기로 했다.

   

두 번째로 가지게 된 꿈은 심리상담사이다. 남들이 하는 얘기를 듣는 것도 좋아하고 적절한 리액션을 잘하는 나에게 어울릴 것 같다는 선생님의 추천이 있어서이다. 또 예전부터 심리상담에 관심이 있었기 때문에 심리상담사를 진로로하면 좋겠다고 생각했다. 

   

세 번째로 가지게 된 꿈은 간호사이다. 간호자격증 취득 후 보건교사, 간호학과 교수, 간호사 등 여러 분야로 취업할 수 있음에 흥미를 느끼고 간호학과 진학을 꿈꾸게 되었다. 그 후 간호학과 진학을 목표로 진로설계도 하고 공부도 하며 꿈을 향해 노력 중이다.

   

긴 노력 끝에 간호학과 진학이라는 좋은 결실을 맺을 수 있으면 좋겠다.
