Bacillus anthracis produces dormant spores that can live in the environment, like soil, for a long time. When these spores get into the body of an organism, they get “activated” and turn into active growing cells. ·         Vaccinating cattle and sheep who are in anthrax-affected regions.
·         We should not eat meat that has not been properly slaughtered and cooked.
·         Waste water should be treated with bleach or another antimicrobial agent.
·         People should be educated about Anthrax, as it creates awareness among them and it becomes easier to prevent it.
