.) Professional Clothes - think about your outfit from the point of view of others. Even though you think your shirt if fine, would a conservative grandma figure from the local church find it appropriate?

.) Alterations to Your Body - Be conscience of your tattoos, piercings and unnatural hair color. Some employers will have different viewpoints on what is acceptable or not so be aware before you try out the new mermaid toned hair colors.

.) Smells - Think about the smells you are bringing into the workplace. Did you shower? Is your cologne strong? Does your lunch have a strong odor? Were you smoking before you walked in? Did you hit a skunk on the way to work? Are you using essential oils? All of these are things that might be common in your day to day but may cause issues for those around you at work.

.) Your Reputation - Keep your reputation clean. Don't gossip. Don't boast about your drinking this past weekend. Don't swear. Don't talk poorly about the company. Don't post your complaints about your manager on facebook. Don't be rude.

.) Timing - Think ahead about what time to arrive at meetings or events. Have a plan ahead of time so you are not scrambling at the last minute.
