The demand for sustainable forage systems is steadily increasing due to rising concerns about climate change, soil health, and the need for more resilient farming practices. This is further driven by government policies, agricultural grants, and environmental schemes that promote sustainability. However, while there are some resources available, there is a gap in comprehensive, independent, technical guidance that spans both herbal leys and multi-species swards—especially in relation to practical management strategies that integrate scientific research into farming systems.
