However, the different perspectives of Andy and Caroll also help students empathize with the perspective of the parent. Furthermore, understanding how the misunderstanding comes about can help with their intercultural competences as well. Aesthetic learning can help students learn to imagine how a written play might look like when it is actually produced. They may have an easier time deducing what an actor is doing/looking like when they say their lines and how that adds to the meaning of the text.
