The museum is trying to show visitors the similarities and differences between the ancient egyptians hieroglyphs way of communication and modern day emojis and how we use them. They are similar because both use pictures to show meaning which can be understood by almost anyone.

They are different because you can do more with Hieroglyphs since it is a whole language that crafted skillmen had to learn, but with modern day emojis anyone can use them but they are limited in what you can say.

The author thinks Hieroglyphs and emoji have a complicated relationship because they may look similar but really they can’t be compared because one is a whole language but the other just shows emotion.
