Never in a million years did I think that I was going to end up exploring the Americas with Cabeza de Vaca. Me, a young man from Africa sold into slavery I never thought I would've ended up in the Americas! Was my exploration successful? I was taken on a trip to invade Florida, but we were defeated by Native Floridians. Some of the men and I escaped on rafts. Then the men and I got shipwrecked and ended up in the East Texas coast. I traveled through the Americas with some men, including Cabeza de Vaca. So successful? I don't know you tell me? Does getting defeated by Native Floridians and then being shipwrecked sound successful?

1531 i invaded the incas with a new type of gun really powerful it was called the harquebus when i invaded them i captured atahualpa and he told me he would give me all the gold for his freedom i i said yes but after i went to get the gold i killed him and then we started a war but i won because they out numbered me but we had all the good weapons the weapons we had were advanced so we won and that is what happened the year 1531 the great war

Been a long time since I last explored! The last time I explored was in I think... 1538. Looking for riches through what is now, Southeastern United States. Thought that I would've found riches, and become famous, but not finding anything, but my group DID become the first Europeans to see the Mississippi river. Ha! At least I get known for something. But later on in the years, I never ever expected myself to get super ill. Unfortunately, I ended up dying in 1542, not very far from the Mississippi river. I still got known! And I know that you guys know that! You think this was successful? No,no,no. So trying to find the riches,and not FINDING ANYTHING, along with DYING with an illness is successful? HA! You thought wrong! Anyways, someone should finish my expedition and find riches for me. I'll be more than proud.

Hi. I'm Hernan Cortes, a Spanish explorer, or, a conquistador. I was more successful than those other Spanish explorers trying to find riches. Just like that other explorer Ponce de Leon, my thoughts were taken into finding gold. Having heard stories from the native people, I determined that there must be a great empire prosperous in gold to the west of the Caribbean islands. In 1519, I headed to Cuba seeking the tremendous riches I had heard about. After landing in the coastal city of Veracruz, Mexico, me and my soldiers moved inland. When I arrived at Tenochtitlan, I met with Moctezuma. He offered me gifts of gold and treasured jewels, but these items were not enough for me. I took Moctezuma prisoner, leading to a riot in which the emperor was killed. The Aztecs then tried driving me out of the city, we battled on the plains of Otumba, where me and my troops then killed the Aztec commander. The Spanish then retreated to a friendlier area. A few months later, I returned with a larger effort to fight the Aztecs. Along the way, my army was joined by a figure of native fighters troubled with Aztec rule. The help form native allies was one reason we were able to defeat the Aztecs, but we also had two things that the Aztecs did not; fine swords and horses. We had a clear advantage, even if we were outnumbered, they were no match for forces with swords and lances fighting on horseback. After 75 days of conflict, me and my army destroyed The Aztec capital. Being successful? Yeah, I could say that I was pretty successful, I mean, I got riches, AND, destroyed the Aztec capital?! That doesn't sound so bad if I say so myself.

In 1528 Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca was exploring the coast along the Gulf Of Mexico.I was shipwrecked by a hurricane and landed in what is now Texas. There I and my crew lived among American Indians for four years. Eventually we left on foot, we walked through part that are what now New Mexico and Arizona to return to Mexico. The experiences made me sympathetic to other Natives I've met, I've urged the King of Spain to treat them all better. I wanted the land to be equal, and calming.

I was Spanish explorer who was more successful in search for my riches. I was called "conquistador", spanish for "conqueror". I was interested in finding the riches of gold just like Ponce De Leon. In 1519, I left Cuba seeking the great riches I had heard about. After landing in what is now so-called "The Coastal City of Veracruz, Mexico", Me and my soldiers moved to Inland. When we arrived at Technochitan, Motozuma met with me. He offered gifts of gold and wealthy precious mysterious jewels. These weren't enough for me. I took Montezuma prisoner, caused a riot and in that case the emperor was killed. The Aztecs then drove me and my troops from the city. We battled on the plains of Otumba, where me and my troops killed the Aztecs commander. The Spanish retreated to a friendlier area. (Lol its not how it sounds)

I was a spanish explorer who came to the Americas on columbus's second voyage. In 1513 I claimed Florida for spain. I was later governor for what is now known as puerto rico. I think my exploration was successful.

When I have heard about the seven cities of gold I went to search for them. I didn´t discover such cities though. Me and my group did find the grand canyon and became the first europeans to discover the grand canyon. I also claimed for spain large areas.

It has been a long time of not traveling , I remember in 1541 discovering and reach the Mississippi River, I am one of the first European explorers to ever do so. I am more known for being a conquistador. I helped take control many lands in parts of Central and South America, including those of the Inca Empire.

I'm a spanish explorer in the age of exploration. in 1540 I thought there were 7 cities if gold . But me and my crew died before we saw it. however we were the first europeans to see the grand canyon.

I have sailed through west coast of south america with my small army of men. I've sailed there to see if the rumors of the empire rich with gold was true. Me and my men have travelled far and long to the mighty Inca empire high up in he mountains. Our missions was successful nevertheless, but we have been handed a roomful of gold.

I was a Spanish explorer and a conquistador named Hernán Cortés. I was more successful in finding riches than those other Spanish explorers. I was interested in finding gold just like Ponce De León was. Hearing stories from the Native people made me decide that there must be an empire rich in gold to the West of the Caribbean Islands. I was right. The empire there had ruled over several native groups in what is now called central Mexico. In 1502, Moctezuma ll became the emperor. Many native people started to rebel against the Aztecs. I then left Cuba in 1519, seeking for the great riches I had heard about. After landing in what is now the city of Veracruz, Mexico, my soldiers and I moved inland. Moctezuma then met up with me when I arrived in Tenochtitlan. He then offered me precious jewels and gifts of gold. It was not enough, however. I then took him prisoner, causing a riot in which he was killed. The Aztecs them drove me and my troops out of the city. We battled on the plains of Otumba, where my troops and I killed the Aztec commander. The spanish were then sent to a friendlier area. A few months later I returned with force to help fight the Aztecs. Suddenly, the Spanish that were unhappy with the Aztec ruler helped them fight back. With their help, they were able to defeat the Aztecs. We were also able to defeat them because we had swords that they did not have. We had horses, which the Aztecs didn't have either. After 75 days of battle, we finally destroyed the Aztec Capital. Then the Spanish built Mexico City where the Aztec Capital used to be. I was called Nueva Espaǹa.
