         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Reason 1:</strong> The settlers got into a fight with the natives which did not follow the charter. <br><strong>Quote:</strong> "you must in no case suffer any of the native people of the country to inhibit between you and the sea coast; for you cannot carry yourselves so towards them..." <br><strong>Reason 2 : </strong>lost most food because they did not build the necessary buildings they needed first. <strong><br>Quote:&nbsp; </strong>"it were necessary that all your carpenters and other such like workmen about building do first build your storehouse and those other rooms of publick and necessary use before any house be set up for any private person." <br><strong>Reason 3:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;The settlers showed the natives their weaknesses , so they attacked. <br><strong>Quote:</strong> " above all things, do not advertize the killing of any of your men.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Reason 1- They were told "most wholesome and fertile place." Their land was malarial and not fertile.<br><br>&nbsp;Reason 2- They were told "not to offend the naturals (natives)." The colonists didn't get along with the indians and they were very hostile.<br><br>Reason 3-"When you have discovered...every small defect." The colonists were told to work for their food and sow their own crops to trade, but instead they stole from the natives and when they did sow their crops, they didn't<br>&nbsp;leave any to make money off of.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
